This is a very good unit. However, I ended up returning it because it does not have a "D" ring attached to the cap so that it was impossible to get on my arm by myself. Even my husband had a hard time on my arm, because of the slippery nylon material. I'm sure it was just because it was a manual cuff, but I never could get it pretty tight on my arm just unity. Although the quality of the Monitor LifeSource UA-100 Home Aneroid sphygmomanometers is not as good as the Omron, I always ended up buying 3 LifeSource UA-100. One for each of us, that we all followed. More AU-100 is cheaper than the Omron and includes stethoscope. You must buy a separate stethoscope for Omron, which makes it more difficult to use for a person.
