Can i buzz my hair the same length all around?

I usually get my hair buzzed with a #9 on top and a #6 on the sides. I was wondering if I can just buzz my hair with a #6 all around. Only thing that worries me is if it looks stupid all uniformly cut without a longer top/shorter size. I bought Wahl professionals
