My hair won't hold a curl?!?My hair is chin-length, very straight, and thick. When I try to curl it, I have to use a lot of hairspray, so it gets all shrivelly and crunchy....So I either brush it out, and lose my curls, or walk about with yucky hair.

I have the same problem. I have found that the best way for me to curl my hair and have it hold is to use sponge curlers. Wash your hair, towel dry just a bit, then put the curlers in. Let them completely dry, and I mean completely, before you take
